Cheryl's Tips for Selecting a Wig

Shop before treatment begins or before hair loss becomes extreme.  It will be easier to match your hair color and style.  Your hair will give a cushion effect, so it is more comfortable to try on wigs.  If one is not offered, ask for a wig cap to wear while trying on a wig.  If you are ordering a wig online (or receiving a donated wig) check to make sure the company sells new wigs, or properly sanitizes their wigs for reuse.
